A Doctor is always contactable between these hours. If you ring outside these times, you will hear a tape recorded message which will tell you how to contact a Doctor. THIS IS FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY.

When the Surgery is Closed

Call the surgery number to hear a taped message which will tell you how to contact a doctor.

NHS Direct

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse.

Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Walk-In Centre

We would like to point out that a Walk-in-Centre exists at Loughborough Hospital manned by Nurse Practitioners. It costs the practice every time you attend the Walk-In-Centre. If we are open please contact us first. We hold your full medical records and there is a doctor on call every day, then that money can be put back into the practice to help us extend our services to you.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
